Happy Monday friends! I hope you are having a wonderful day and that your weekend was filled with fun and plenty of recovery! Since it was such a popular post last week, I figured I’d pop back in and share another treadmill workout! Fingers crossed that those dealing with winter weather get a break soon!

Treadmill Interval Workout!

  • 2 minute walk
  • 1 minute jog
  • 45 second run/90 seconds recovery (x2)
  • 1 minute run/2 minute recovery (x2)
  • 45 second run/45 second recovery (x2)
  • 30 second run/30 second recovery (x2)

This is more of a beginning interval workout but you can bump up the speeds to challenge yourself. Take the recoveries as easy as you need. You can even split them up to walk part of the recovery and get into a light jog toward the end. If you really want to make it spicy, you can do the runs at 3% incline and take the recoveries on the flat road. This is just a template. Make it your own and get the workout your legs need!
