Monthly Goals!

Happy Thursday friends! It is already the end of October and I can’t believe it! It really seems like the month just flew by. My Google Calendar went from super empty to filled to the brim and I was just trying trying to get by. Luckily, I made it and I wanted to pop in and share how my month went and my goals for November!

Like I mentioned, October was busy for me but it was a good busy. There was a moment where I did feel a bit rundown at the beginning of the month but I found my groove and just settled in. I had three goals and if I had to give myself an overall letter grade, I would say I got a B.

October Goal #1: Build Up Mileage

I was pretty safe and did bump up to 4 miles as my longest, pain-free run! I wanted to do more but time didn’t allow me. However, I did add some hill work and speed work so honestly that made me super proud!

October Goal #2: Meal Plan Effectively

With my schedule changing up, I had to meal plan better than I had in previous months. It feels weird buying groceries mid week but I made it work! My meals have come out great and it’s all still on the healthy side!

October Goal #3: Try Two New Studios/Classes

This one TECHNICALLY happened during the month but not. I did trying out a new choreography class and didn’t die of embarrassment. It was super fun! I signed up for a class my friend teaches at the rowing studio but it’s tomorrow which is technically the first of the month. I signed up though!

November brings Thanksgiving, travel (maybe), and cooler weather. I am proud of myself for kicking butt and getting through October without feeling like I lost my sanity. Here are a few of my goals for November!

November Goal #1: Walk The Dog Three Times A Week

Now that the temps are dropping a bit, she can enjoy longer walks outdoors. I need to get back in the habit of taking her out so she can walk off some of that extra energy! Plus, it gives me a chance to “run” with her too. We usually top out at a mile but it’s still extra activity!

November Goal #2: Cycle Weekly To Meet Birthday Goal

My birthday is the first week of December and I have a goal to reach my 300th ride on my Peloton on my birthday! I’ve done the math and calculated how many rides I need to do per week to get there. My goal is to stay on track so I won’t have to rush at the end of the month!

November Goal #3: Bake more desserts

I absolutely love to bake. That’s not to say that I eat everything I bake. I’m the type of person that will bake cakes and brownies and only keep a small piece of it. Since November is the time for holiday parties, I’d like to bake and share my desserts with those around me!

Those are my goals for the month! It will be a busy one filled with plenty of time with loved ones and I just can’t wait! I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the fall weather is here to stay as well.
