Zooma Race Series!

Zooma Race Series

Happy Monday friends! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! Mine was filled with warm temps and plenty of time outside. I can’t believe it’s basically summer time down here now. I looked at the forecast for the week and we have temps in the 70s with high humidity. It’s that time y’all! Anyways, I wanted to pop in today and share about the Zooma Race Series. One of the first events was this weekend and there’s plenty of more races in the next few months!

This past Friday was International Women’s Day and it was so awesome to see women supporting other women. I had the opportunity to also run a virtual 5k in celebration for all the awesome women I know that inspire me. The Zooma Race Series held a cool virtual run to spread awareness and just celebrate women all over. It was awesome to see all across social media everyone who participated.

However, this was only one of the many races that Zooma is hosting this year! This weekend was also the Lost Pines Race in Bastrop, TX. This race wound through the beautiful hill country with a 5k, 10k, and half marathon course! The energy was high and women of all backgrounds were celebrated. Zooma really makes everyone feel welcomed and there were so many groups of friends and families that ran together!

I absolutely love a race series that celebrates women. It’s one thing to train and run a race on your own. It’s another thing to have your whole girl gang with you. I can’t tell you how many times the ladies in my running group kept me motivated on runs when I wanted to quit. Nothing against my bros out there but I know some pretty boss babes. They hustle in the professional world like no other and still kill it out on the track or road. That’s inspiring as all get out and that’s why I love races like these. Being surrounded by women from all walks of life motivates me to run my best!

Did you miss out on the Zooma races this weekend? Don’t fret! There are still four more chances to get in on this celebration! The next race is in the Great Lakes! Cape Cod and Florida in the summer and fall with another date in Texas to finish it all off! Grab your girls and make this a girl trip! You can use code ZOOMABR15 for 15% off for any of the race events. This is an event that you don’t want to miss!
