Weekly Workouts - Morning Run

Happy Monday everyone! I know, I completely slacked off last week and only updated once. Y’all, I’m doing my hardest to get back on track and get myself together. Last week got off to a rocky start and I was definitely DONE by Wednesday. I’m sure some of y’all can feel me on that! I figured I would keep it light today and share last week’s workouts and what I’ve been up to!

I tested out a new energy gel on my runs this week!

Last Week’s Workouts:

Monday: 45 Minute Spin Class

Tuesday: 4 Mile Run/ 45 Minute Spin Class

Wednesday: 60 Minute Cross Training

Thursday: 45 Minute Spin Class/ 3 Mile Social Run

Friday: 60 Minute Cross Training/ 45 Minute Spin Class

Saturday: 60 Minute Spin Class

Sunday: Yoga

Weekly Workouts - Social Run

Overall, it’s a good and active week. However, I would have liked to run more especially since I just got my official marathon training plan back from my coach. Since Chicago is quite a bit away, I will be using the next few weeks for building my base and getting my legs stronger. I totally relied on spin classes this week so my runs just didn’t happen some afternoons. I’m hoping to get this upcoming week more balanced out. Although I did kick butt at cross training this week with some awesome power lifting so that was a huge highlight to my crazy week!

I have also meet with a registered dietitian this week and I am working on dialing in my eating and making sure I’m eating enough to take care of my body. It’s interesting to get an outsiders perspective and just see where I’m lacking. I’m all about accountability so this is an exciting venture for me too!
