Another year has come and gone! Jordan and I didn’t have any big plans for New Year’s and we actually ended up falling asleep way before midnight. I can only count a handful of times that Jordan and I made it to midnight. I went for a quick workout on Friday night. I only had to work half of the day so I figured I’d get one more strength workout. It also gave me a chance to break in my new running shoes! Needless to say, I was starving after that workout so I was ecstatic when Jordan wanted Taco Cabana for dinner. Even though the weather is getting cooler, Jordan and I wear shorts pretty often. Unless it gets down to the 40s, he never wears pants. We used some of our Christmas gift cards to buy some movies. We ended the night by watching Despicable Me 3! On Saturday, I went for a speed class at RacePace. It felt so good to get a speed workout. Especially since it was on a treadmill and not out in the cold weather. After getting back from class and getting breakfast, Jordan and I went to watch Pitch Perfect. We used another gift card and shared this giant popcorn. Since we were so full on the popcorn, we skipped lunch. Jordan and I made these in our air fryer before making breakfast for dinner! After church on Sunday, we hit up Jimmy Changas for more delicious food! I’m doing the Tone It Up 5 Day Detox so I meal prepped a bunch of veggies for the week. I also made a batch of soup for the week! Not much else happened Sunday afternoon. We watched some football and then ended the evening by watching the Kingsmen. Jordan and I were in bed by 10:30. I’m excited for all the new things going on this year. I’ll be starting my year right with eating healthy and getting healthy habits in place. I hope you had a great weekend!
