Rodeo Weekend!
This weekend was a blast! The Houston Rodeo lasts for two weeks with amazing concert performances each night. I was lucky enough to get some free tickets to see The Chainsmokers perform!
Saturday
Since we were going to be at the rodeo for most of the day on Sunday, we had our lazy morning on Saturday. I got a tattoo Friday night so I was glad to see that it was healing nicely the next day! The first night sleeping with a new tattoo is rough but it’s gotten much better!
Jordan’s dad and step mom will be coming into town next week so we went shoe shopping to get him some sandals. My favorite flats were ruined on my crazy work trip a few weeks ago so I ended up with new shoes too. I combed through the clearance section for these shoes and come out with two pair for $40!
Sunday
We walked so much on Sunday! Jordan and I went to the rodeo soon after church. My favorite part is all the food! There’s the usual BBQ and Mexican food but then you have all the fair food you can think off! It’s safe to say we had our fare share of food.
There were so many cute animals and I just love seeing all the show animals. I always forget how MASSIVE cows and horses are.
Somehow we ended up with the goats and sheep. They are so LOUD. There’s a few in my mom’s neighborhood so I knew these guys get crazy.
Once we did our rounds, we went into the main arena for the rodeo and the concert. My husband took some pretty cool pictures so I figured I would share those instead of my lame phone pictures!
This was a cute moment. All of these horses are related!
Overall, we had a great time at the Rodeo. We’ve never been to an EDM concert before and this was a good one!
