CycleBar Review!

Happy Friday everyone! It’s been such a crazy week and I’m so ready for the weekend! Before heading off into the sunset, I wanted to share my review on one of the hottest cycle studios in town: CycleBar!

Now you’ll find CycleBar all of the US. They are a franchise spin studio so there’s a few differences between every studio but the general concept is the same.
What I love about CycleBar is the metrics they offer. Everytime you ride, you’ll have a screen on your bike which will tell you what resistance level you’re at and what your speed is. The classes at CycleBar are rhythm based which means you’ll be peddling to the beat of the music. Throughout the class you’ll add or remove tension to really keep you sweating!

Another cool thing about CycleBar is the way the room is set up. They call it the CycleTheather because the bikes are set up with platforms like a movie theater. This way even the people in the back have a good view of the instructor. There’s a light show and screens which show your metrics throughout class so you can challenge yourself with each song!

CycleBar has such a nice studio and amenities!

I took a class with Molly at the CycleBar in town and I absolutely love it. The vibe was different than the studio I go to weekly but it was fun! There was such a great mix of slow and fast beat songs along with killer resistance that had me sweating and my legs burning!
One thing I would have liked was if there was more class interaction. At the other studio I go to, it feels like the class is more chatty. However that could have been a factor that is was the Monday after the Superbowl when I went and many people were just trying to get into the weekly groove after that!

Another thing that’s awesome about CycleBar is that once a week they donate 100% of the classes profits to charity. Cyclegiving is such a great thing and it’s not something other studios or gyms in town do. I know there’s charity classes but I haven’t heard of any studio or gym that gives 100% of the profit to charity. I can’t wait to go to one of their charity rides!
It’s a different vibe but I would definitely go back. There’s one opening up closer to home so I might head to that one once it opens!

Do you go to spin classes? Have you tried CycleBar?
